Obituary of Weldon Bond

Weldon Bond, 59, of Aledo died Saturday, January 26, 2019, in Dallas after a long, valiant battle with cancer.

Weldon was born on March 10, 1959, in Wilcox, Arizona.  He married Faye Coffey on June 11, 1981, in Pritchett, Texas.

He is survived by his loving wife, Faye Bond of Aledo; one son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Whitney Bond of San Antonio; his mother, Reba Bond of Hudson Oaks; his favorite uncle, Arlie Davis of Hudson Oaks; his brother, as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews; and a host of good friends.

Weldon was preceded in death by his father, E.H. Bond.

A private family event in his memory will be held in Colorado among the Aspen trees.  There will not be a memorial at the request of Weldon, who strived to live every moment and not look back.  As he believed, enjoy what you do and who you are with because life is too short!
