Faye,
I am so sorry for your loss. Well don was truly like a second father for me- he took me under his wing as a young 24 year old and taught me everything he could. We spent many nights in our trailer while he patiently tried to get me to slow down and learn from him. I had no idea he was even sick but that was Weldon’s personality. He was a humble kind caring man who always wanted others to get credit. He was a great mentor and friend. Lindsey and I send our condolences and will pray for you and your family in this time of mourning. He was such a great man...

Our Loss;
I had the privilege and honor of working for Weldon, and only know the following to be true without reservation, or embellishments. I can only share with you words or phrases that I think of when I think of Weldon:
Family
Honor
Truth
Compassion
Efficiency
Beliefs
What’s the right thing to do
Giving
I owe my career to Weldon in which the way I conduct business today. He always had time, or made time to talk about personal issues when he could see someone was struggling with an issue. I started off with family for my list above because as much as he loved to build homes, and build teams to construct homes; he loved his wife, and son. It was almost as if we were part of his family, and always knew what was going on with the Bond family. He was a huge impact in my life. Weldon was a model man, friend, and human being. I will miss him dearly.

I am so sorry, and my prayers are with the family. He was a very special man...... and a great mentor to me. He taught me a lot...... including patience. He would always tell me to take a breath and sit down. Then we would just talk.
