I remember "Eddie" from grade school and high school, and then later from University of Florida. His father was my father's best friend during the time we lived in Ft. Lauderdale and they even worked together. I remember Eddie as a quiet guy, and always kind. When we were at University of Florida, he would always call me when he was coming home to Ft. Lauderdale for a weekend and offer a ride if I wanted to come home for a bit, and I always took him up on the offer. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and wish to offer my condolences to his family.
