In this photo, of a painting of Wogget, taken right after the celebration of her life, it is obvious that Wogget's bright light comes from her heart. Always has. Always will.
Let me tell you about my sister Wogget
She spoke always clear and concise
never had a problem breaking the ice.
She always had style and grace
even when having to get in someone's face.
All of her life she stood her ground
even to the end she didn't back down.
She was always funny and quick to wit
leave to imagination cause I can't say it.
To our time together you and I
this will be hardest good bye.
But, even when I was a child--- cryin
I knew that I would see you again.
ILYM

Wogget was more than a sister to me. As the eldest sister she took on the role and responsibility of looking after her younger siblings. She was almost like a second mom. She was a role model of responsibility, love, unselfishness, and kindness. She made me feel special and was always there for me...when I got married. when each one of my children was born, when I endured my own cancer diagnosis and treatment. After she moved to Burleson so that we could care for her she often said, "I always believed that I would be the caregiver, not the receiver. She gave from a big heart and leaves a big hole in mine.

Pat, I'm sending my love and condolences to you and yours because I know the ache in your hearts. Wogget is the winner in death! I know the Lord is giving the grace you need to move forward. One day at a time. Give her beautiful companion a hug as kiss for me.
