When I came into the family some 49 years ago and met Aunt Chris I thought what a lovely lady. She was sweet and I started loving her then. And she became my Aunt Chris, too. I loved all the times that we visited, the Holidays with the family. But I know her and Charles had a Great Reunion in Heaven. Love All the Family, I Miss Aunt Chris So Much Already

Of course there are so many. I am glad that I can remember vividly one day when I was just a kid, Grandmother cooking while Grandfather and I were in the backyard. It was a typical hot summer day in Dallas and he was teaching me the proper hammering technique. Gran brought us a simple glass of water with lots of lemons in it. She rubbed her hands through my hair and kissed my head. She said "Love y'all", Grandfather tapped me with his elbow, and jestured towards Gran. I knew without him saying a word what I was to do, "Love you, too!" Grandfather didn't even crack a smile, he simply gave me a thumbs up. We sat back like two blokes on our lunch break drinking that lemon water. Then Gran says, "Mac, don't teach that boy how to smash a finger!", and the door slammed and Grandfather rolled his eyes. -I'm glad that I got to see you every Saturday morning these last years... Love you, too!
