Jeri was very special to me. She and Allen helped my business so much by supporting my business and allowing me to work with her and many of her clients. This business relationship of over 20 years, spilled over to a friendship and I was always encouraged to attend church with her, they even would pick me up on Sunday mornings. I can’t begin to describe how special the relationship was and I thought of Jeri so many times. She was such a comfort to me in times where I needed comfort. She lifted me up in many ways and opened the door for me to many opportunities. I’ve never worked with anybody with such grace and kindness. Her church family was wonderful to me as well and I was included in many other family gatherings and personal gatherings in her home. I used to babysit her plants when she would go to Texas and I always felt I would come out and visit one day. I will miss her so much, as there’s never been anybody like her. She was a credit to her business community and a credit to her church. I enjoyed watching her both at work as an interior designer and also as a disciple for the church she was attending. She and Allen always made me feel welcome in their home. I know this is a terrible time for Valerie and her family , both with the loss of her mom and her brother. The good from this is evidenced by her beautiful grandchildren and their legacy to follow. It was a privilege to know her.

Jeri used to burn candles in the interior design showroom. There was a favorite candle called melon ball and every time I smell that fragrance I will remember Jeri.
