Laurie Drissel Obituary

Laurie was born to Myrah and Hubert Neff November 7, 1959 joining her two sisters Debbie and Lisa. The family moved shortly after her birth to Rogers, Arkansas.

Laurie was a member of the Mounties Marching band. Laurie was a proud Navy wife to Wesley Garmon. They have three children Andy, Katlyn, and Steven. Laurie worked 31 years in Special Education. She worked doggedly on her Bachelor's Degree over the years. She was very proud to have finished her career in her “very own classroom.”

She loved working with kids and her students loved her. She was the lover, husband, and “partner in crime” to Patrick Drissel. We shared many adventures including selling everything we owned and traveling the United States in a van named “Chubby.” Laurie loved being Nana to grand kids Zack, William, Carter, Riley, and Reagan. Laurie’s love of family, children, and dogs knew no bounds.

Laurie is survived by her two sisters Debbie and Lisa, her three children Andy, Katie, and Steven. Her five grandchildren Zack, William, Carter, Riley, and Reagan. Her loving husband Patrick and many loving friends and family.
