Laurie is the mother of my best friend Andy. I was always welcomed by her kindness and warmth. I remember conversations and memories when I would be over at the house when I was in high school. I remember her annoyance of Andy and I "jamming" our LOUD guitars in the garage but still was encouraging. What I will remember most is her kind beautiful smile.
She taught with my mother years ago and will be remembered lovingly by her fellow educators and students. I am saddened at her passing, but know she will always be within and around her children, grandchildren, siblings, husband, friends and all her family. I am proud and honered to say Laurie and the rest of the Garmon family helped shape and mold parts of my life. She will be missed but will always be remembered for her loving life. Rest and peace to you Laurie. ❤
