Sadden to hear about Fran's passing. She was a good lady and good principal and I was honored to have worked with her.

Fran-Ram. I love you. I will miss your funny, sincere, and sensical humor. You made me laugh when I wanted to cry. You were always a sounding board for me. You enriched my life immeasurably.
I want your family to know what a playful woman you were.
I used to read the announcements at Cleburne High School. After many years of radio, it was an easy thing for me to do. Speak with other people looking at you, come you could see and others you knew were listening or looking.
Fran had tried for weeks to make me laugh during the announcements. It never worked. She tried everything.
The one thing she did that made me lose my mind was this:
I had JUST started the announcements, and Fran walked up opposite of me and started to dance, that wasn't very funny, but THEN, she started to grab the bottom of her shirt and began to lift up, like she was doing a burlesque act.
I FREAKING LOST IT. I LAUGHED SO HARD, I HAD TO STOP THE ANNOUNCEMENTS AND TURN OFF THE PA.
The principal came out and asked, WHAT WAS THAT?
I was red faced and still laughing, and Fran-Ram was standing there looking all innocent.
My gosh, that woman. I will forever remember her.
I love you, Franny. I'll miss you, but i guarantee we'll see each other again.

Fran,
Was my highschool geography teacher. 20+ years later when I think of who were the best teachers that I had, she always comes to mind. She always expected you to apply yourself and she demanded respect in a very joyful manner. She was a great one.

Mrs. Ramirez was apart of my middle school and high school (Senior yr) life. She was stern and direct but you always knew that she meant it out of love and what was best for you. It showed in her sons and I thought it was always nice that once she knew your name and face she never forgot, rather it had been because you were in trouble or she felt you needed someone to talk to. She will be missed on earth but Heaven has gained an excellent spirit and soul. GOD bless the Ramirez Family in there time of grief.

Mrs Ramirez was a part of my Middle and High School years in Cedar Hill. I have to agree with Sweeney, she was stern but always ment well and would give you that grin. It sounds like she has a great family and it's nice to know her involvement in the education system. What a great occupation to take on.
Thank you Mrs. Ramirez for the support you gave me when I was younger.
Condolences and prayers to her family.

A wonderful lady and one of my favorite teachers. When I told her I was moving to the UAE to work at a hospital, I asked her “ do you know where that is”? She looked at me with a smirk and said- I was your geography teacher. We had a good laugh about that. ♥️

God bless this family in mourning, and Mrs. Ramirez’s transition to the heavens. Mrs. R, was apart of my junior and high school memories and had a special place with all her “Sweeney’s”. She would definitely whip you into shape, but give a sweet grin, nod and shoo me away from her desk to go back to class and “be better”. (I may or may not have been sent to the office a few times, haha!)
I’m sad to hear the news of her passing, and to the family... I’ve lost a parent/loved one, and my God it’s so painful. Death is never easy to face in this life. I’m so incredibly sorry for y’all’s loss and pray for peace amongst your grieving days. Much love.
