Only found out today about David's passing & I am deeply saddened for all his family, closer friends and friends like me that mutually fell out of touch for awhile not because we wanted too but because that is where the Air Force and also life took us while we tried to make ends meet, went different directions in our life maps, had children, discovered life was more than ourselves, and yes some of us and me too had divorces.. so many reasons why we could fall out of touch with some of the early post college but first Air Force assignment friends which in retrospect were the some of the truly best shared experiences . Via facebook, Dave reached out to me a few years back; we friended & exchanged basic Hey i know you!. Hope things are good etc! Yes that wasnt enough.. while I know I was super busy at work (yep i still am), so i did not fully engage, i am now filled with super regret. But I just relooked at Dave's always smiling 100+ facebook pics - I can tell just like test squadron days Dave lived his life large and made fun happen.. sierra hotel - Dave, it's 5 o'clock somewhere, even somewhere blessed & we will raise our mugs together again in the sky! Peace to you & God be with you and all those who miss and love you! There are more of us out there i know ..if you spent just a day with Dave Houseman he is a memory filled with joy! Check six but head to the light and in time, we will all regroup there - Dave, you have the lead! House Tango Foxtrot! Victory ahead!
