Obituary of Robert Harlowe Johnson

Robert Johnson or Bob as most of us knew him passed away on October 27, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harlowe Johnson and Muriel Thuerer Johnson and his sister in law Mrs. Richard Johnson (Carol). He was a loving husband to Karen Potter Johnson for 34 years and a dedicated father to Jeffrey and Jennifer. Bob graduated from University of Minnesota with an Electrical Engineer degree and received his Master's Degree from SMU. He worked for Texas Instruments which later became Raytheon in a managerial position for 45+ years. He was an avid traveler, crossword puzzle enthusiasts and loved to sail. Bob enjoyed cooking for his friends and sharing his collection of wines. His sense of humor brought laughter and joy to everyone around him. He also relished the time spent with family and friends on his vacations in Hawaii.

Bob is survived by his close family, wife Karen Potter Johnson of Richardson, TX; his children Jeffrey Johnson of Richardson and Jennifer Johnson of San Diego, CA and his granddaughter Avah Jean Johnson and her sister Haley Cohee of Richardson; brothers, Thomas and his wife Julie Johnson of St. Paul MN and Richard Johnson of Eagan, MN. and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service on November 11, 2018 at 1:30 pm at Faith Presbyterian Hospice Chapel, 12477 Merit Dr., Dallas, TX 75251. Reception to follow in adjoining building.
