What a wonderful handsome man!
I got the honored to share a trip with Karen and Bob to Hawaii he was quite the gentleman, always had something different cooked for us every night. If we had Mexican we had margaritas, if we had spaghetti we had wind. I just remember sitting out on the balcony having drinks watching the sun go down. Rest well Bob always in my prayers and heart ❤️

I grew up with Karen, jr. high on, and have known Bob for their years of marriage.
The one memory that brings a smile to my heart now is Bob and I sitting in the game room, Karen bringing us popcorn, as we watched the Perry Mason Marathon on TV all day some Saturdays. Betting on who did it.
Bob is a gentle giant of a man, that has blessed everyone that had to take time to figure out what his dry sarcasm meant, and then laugh so hard it brought tears.
We are truly blessed to have become part of Bob + Karen's family! Shalom.

Bob was my second boss at Texas Instruments during the 1980's. Bob managed an entire team of kids fresh out of tech school and college and miraculously kept us all out of trouble! His greatest asset was his calmness in handling every situation that he was confronted with. He was always keen on helping us advance and gave us responsibilities that were above what we thought that we could handle. His guidance eventually helped me land a position on TI's Engineering Development Plan (EDP). This program allowed technicians to earn a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. I went to school half a day and worked a half a day. Bob referred to me as being on the 8-4-2 plan; get paid for 8, come in for 4, and work 2!
I graduated from SMU with a BSEE in 1989 and Bob hired me as a test engineer in his group.
Bob was always more than just a boss. He was a friend. Bob and I shared a lot of similar interests including sailing, bicycling and camping.
I will surely miss him. My condolances to his family.

Bob was always kind and welcoming to me. I was first his wife, Karen's friend, but as he got to know me, I became his friend too. I didn't know him as well as I would have liked. I know he was at first fairly quiet around me, but he warmed up over time as he got to know me. It got to the point where he'd invite me in when I'd come around even if Karen was out. He was interested in my car when I first bought it. I know he loved cars. And he was funny. He'd almost always come up with some witty joke that he would share to get a chuckle. He was smart. That was obvious. And he was also a big hearted person--very big hearted and kind. I'm glad I got to know him as much as I did. I will miss him.
