Obituary of Ure Kalu Emole Onumah

Ure Kalu Emole Onumah, 62 years, of Abiriba, Abia State, Nigeria, passed away on April 5th, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. Funeral service will be held at Merit Memorial on Friday, April 30, 2021, at 12:00 pm with Pastor Nathaniel Odin of Winners Chapel International Dallas officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 pm Rolling Oaks Cemetery. Merit Memorial Funeral & Cremation Care will be handling the funeral arrangements. Ure Kalu Emole Onumah was born in Abiriba to Late Chief and Mrs. Asiegbu Egburonu on August 22, 1958. She went to high school at Egwuena High, Abiriba, where she graduated and went on to earn an HND and degree from Federal Polytechnic, Nekede and Lagos State University respectively. She worked at Nigerian Customs for 33 years and retired as Assistant Comptroller of Custom. She enjoyed reading, worshipping and spending time with family. She was ordained a deaconess and was very active in her church where she once served as a leader of their security team. To her community (ACIU- Lagos chapter) where she was once the vice president, she was equally active and performed her job judiciously without any discrimination. Ure Kalu Emole Onumah is survived by her aged mum, her lovely children: Kingsley Emole Kalu - son Stanley Felix - son and Queeneth Mma - daughter Jennifer Kalu - daughter-in-law Uju Felix - daughter-in-law Her grandchildren are: Zarah Mma, Ashley Mma, Nonso Felix and Ezinne Felix. She is also survived by brothers, sisters, uncles, aunt, nephews, nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
