Maryann Wegloski, 58, of Richardson, Texas, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 in T. Boone Pickens Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Dallas, Texas. Funeral service will be held at Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 10:30am with Fr. Chase Skorburg of Church of the Incarnation (3966 McKinney Ave.) officiating. A live stream of the service will also be made available. Maryann was born in Chicago to Walter J. and Remigia M. Wegloski on July 29, 1962. She went to high school at Morton East and graduated in 1980. She went on to earn a degree in Philosophy from The University of Chicago and a Master’s degree from Towson University. She worked as a librarian for Gilman School for 20 years before moving to Texas to be near to her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren, where she worked as House Manager at the Charles W. Eisemann Center for Performing Arts and Corporate Presentations. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading historical fiction, and spending time with her family and friends. Maryann is survived by her son, J.B. Cooke of Dallas, her son, Max Cooke of Pittsburgh, her brothers, Claude Wegloski, Jerry Wegloski, Paul Wegloski, and Wally Wegloski, her grandchildren, Elizabeth Cooke, Grace Cooke, and Belle Cooke of Dallas, and her nieces and nephews, Christina, Adam, Aaron, Mary, Frank, Alice, Ben, Melissa, and Sarah. She is preceded in death by her father, Walter, and her mother, Remigia. Memorial donations may be made to AIM at Melanoma, 5729 Lebanon Road, Suite 144-305, Frisco, TX 75034. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all her loving friends and family for their many displays of support, both over the past year as well as throughout her life.
