Obituary of Mario Santos

Mario Santos Garcia, son of the late Marcelino Santos and Juana Garcia, was born on December 8, 1930 in San Pedro Pochutla, Oaxaca, Mexico. He worked in the Food and Beverage Industry for many years, working his way up to eventually reaching a Management Position after earning his degree in Accounting and also becoming a Sommelier in Mexico City. In later years, he volunteered as a classroom grandparent teaching young children to read and earned an award for his community service. He was called to be with Our Lord on January 22, 2019 at the age of 88.

Mario Santos is survived by his six children, Mario Santos Valdez, Blanca Santos Valdez, Sergio Santos Valdez, Liz Conner, Ivan Santos Valdez, and Carlos Santos Valdez; his 15 grandchildren: Alex Herrera, Rosanna Santos-Kiser, Wendy Henexson, Leslie Herrera-Martinez, Sergio J. Santos, Miguel Santos, Cindy Cheta, Joshua Conner, Yvonne Calo'oy, Sharlene Herrera-Diocares, Christian Santos, Yvette Santos Wissel, Carlos Santos, Cassandra Santos, and Andres Santos; and his 18 great-grandchildren: Matthew Herrera, Andrew Martinez, Nathan Vargas, James Vargas, Penelope Henexson, Nicholas Herrera, Sophia Martinez, Isabella Santos, Paulina Kiser, Victoria Santos, Gina Santos, Lincoln Kiser, Ryan Calo'oy, Luke Santos, Cristina Kiser, Leo Santos, George Calo'oy, and Olivia Conner.
