My heart goes out to the family today on the tremendous loss your are sharing today.
Melanie is rejoicing to see the face of Jesus and the love ones that have gone before her.
It will be the hardest thing you will go through but rejoice and know she is with the Lord. You will miss your mother, your best friend but she is still right beside you.
All my love and prayers to Angie, Mandy, Ty
From aunt Sandy

When I met Melanie, she was just 16, I was 18. When asked about Melanie, I tell them I married my 1st love. Two years later we were married & had our first precious gift, Angie. And in the next 5 years we had two other precious gifts, Mandy & Ty.
Melanie was a beautiful lady. She was a great mother. And even after our divorce, we became great friends. I will miss Melanie tremendously.
I know I will see you again.

I’ll always remember Melanie as a joyful and warm-hearted person who went out of her way to include others and make them feel like family. Sending my deepest sympathies to all her loved ones.

When I was young she was my camp mom. I was not one of the well off kids, I was very poor and was placed with a group of well off girls who had so much more than I did. I remember this woman walking in our cabin with a warm smile that lite up a room and a trunk full of candy and coming over to me out of everyone and smiling and asking me if she could share my corner. See, no one really wanted to sleep next to the poor girl and all my friends got put in other cabins. She was so wonderful to me and took the time to make me feel so special. That week will always stick in my head because my status in life didn’t matter. She fixed my hair, even gave me a sweater to keep me warm because I didn’t have a jacket. The warmth she had for a little girl who had nothing shows the heart she had for those she didn’t know. Heaven took a beautiful soul home, but this world lost one of our Angels!!
