I had my own special little coffee cup. During the holidays Grandma Ruth would make me "fairy tea" so I can drink coffee with the adults while we ate dessert after holiday dinners. I remember attending her Women's Club meetings, Church events, and even going to the nursery with her so we can find roses to plant in her backyard. She was my favorite person to be around, I used to lock myself in her bathroom when it was time for me to go home, I never wanted to leave my grandma! My favorite memories will always be spending hours together in her cookbooks and just spending the day in the kitchen. I'll always remember how she sat at the end of her table and absorbed her family around the table while we ate. We really were everything to her and it was my favorite thing about her. I'm so grateful for all the time she gave me and giving me all the best memories I now get to pass along to my boys. She truly made the biggest difference in my life.
