Obituary of Hans Russell Larsen
Hans Russell Larsen, 67, went home to be with the Lord on December 18, 2018. Hans passed away, in Highland Village, peacefully with his family by his side.
Hans was born on March 8, 1951 in Twin Falls, Idaho and was adopted by the late Russell Larsen and Maria Maxine Larsen. He was raised in Kimberly, Idaho, where Hans learned how to fish and farm. He graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1969 and went into the Army Reserves the same year. After moving to Texas, Hans went to meat cutting school and started working for Tom Thumb in 1974. He married Linda Kidwell on October 27, 1985. Hans worked for Tom Thumb for 43 years and retired on March 7, 2017. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and his animals. Hans loved being at home, fishing, and going out to eat.
Hans Russell Larsen is survived by spouse, Linda Larsen, daughter, Krista Larsen, and granddaughter, Kinley Larsen. His sister, Mary Hodges, niece and nephew, Elizabeth and Colter.
The family would like to invite everyone to join them for a memorial for Hans Russell Larsen on January 12, 2019 at Lakeside Community Park at 3PM. There will be a reception to follow at the Larsen home.
