I'll always remember the day I met Robert. He had just moved in, and was already scouting out the ladies. My office was just around the corner from his apartment, so he could see me every time he went to the elevator. He took one look at me, and complimented my long, curly hair then told me to never cut it. He proceeded to tell me, "I'm going to be your favorite!" to which I replied, "Good luck!" I can't say he was my favorite resident--each one is unique in our friendship, but there hasn't been anyone else that has blown kisses to me or wanted to serenade me on the piano as often as Robert. I already miss seeing him reading the paper to different ladies in the hallway, playing his phone too loud in the dining room featuring yet another video of Abbott & Costello, and playing "Dream a Little Dream of Me" with more ending variations than you can shake a stick at on the lobby piano. I can't say that Robert was my favorite, but I can say that I'll always dream a little dream of him.
