Obituary of Jessica Ann Morgan

Jessica Ann Morgan passed from this life into the hands of the Lord December 12, 2019, in Dallas, Texas, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. 

Jessica was born December 17, 1974, in Shreveport, Louisiana. In 1985, her family moved to Garland, Texas, where she eventually graduated from North Garland High School in 1993.  After graduation, she received an Associates Degree in Sonography and became an Ultrasound Technician, working to help women with high-risk pregnancies.

In 1999 she fulfilled a dream and became a mother to Parker Christian Morgan.

Jessica graduated, with Honors, from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Computer Science and Computer Engineering in December 2018.  After graduation, she moved to Panama City Beach, Florida, where she worked as a contract engineer with the United States Navy.

Above everything, Jessica will be remembered for her deep faith in Christ, caring nature, and loving spirit.  She touched hundreds of lives as a loving mother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend.

She is survived by her son, Parker Morgan of Dallas, Texas, fur children Kindle, Sunny and Zuko, parents Barbara & Jim Brooks of Dallas, Texas, and Laura & John Morgan, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, brother James Brooks-Johnson & his husband Michael Hollowell of Branson, Missouri, and sister Amanda Morgan of St. Louis, Missouri. She is also survived and loved by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her Grandparents Mary Katherine and Lloyd Burns of Shreveport, Louisiana, Mary Jane and John Morgan, Sr. of Natchez, Mississippi, and great Grandmother Grace Griffith of Shreveport, Louisiana.

Services will be held December 20, 2019, at The Heights Baptist Church, 201 W Renner Rd, Richardson, TX 75080.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Operation Kindness https://www.operationkindness.org/ or Pine Cove Ranch https://www.pinecove.com/donate/.
