Obituary of Arnold Anderson
Arnold Ross “Andy” Anderson, 82, of St. Charles, MO, passed away on October 31, 2019 in Murphy, TX.
Funeral services are pending and will be held at a later date.
Andy was born in Clinton, IA to Arthur Anderson and Catherine Jaarsema Anderson on November 11, 1936. He went to Elwood High School and graduated in 1956. He went on to earn a degree in Physical Education from Northwest Missouri State University. He worked as a Regional Sales Manager for Time Insurance Company/Fortis for 30 Years. He enjoyed fishing, his 2nd home at Lake of the Ozarks, cooking/good food, spending time with his family – especially his grandsons, going to the casino and going on cruises. He will be remembered for his quick wit, generosity, BBQ/cooking, fishing/boating knowledge, politics and always having a fun time.
Andy is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Nancy Anderson of St. Charles, MO/currently Murphy, TX, Daughters: Linda Weis, Murphy TX, Karen Cotta, St. Charles, MO and Son-In-Law, Tom Weis, Murphy, TX, Grandsons: Andrew Weis and Alex Weis, Murphy, TX and Jonathan Cotta, St. Charles, MO, Brother-in-Law, J. Ramon Burke, Nieces: Debbie (Mark) McDermott and Colleen Burke. He is preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law, John Cotta, his four sisters, two brothers and nephew, Dennis Burke.
