Obituary of Leslie Gardipe

Leslie Renee Gardipe, 53, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on October 30, 2019 in Denton, Texas.

Visitation will be held on November 2, 2019 at 11:00 am. Funeral service will be held at 12801 N Stemmons Freeway Suite 803, Farmers Branch, TX on November 2, 2019 at 1:00 pm with Reverend Chad Merritt of Abundant Life Faith Church officiating. Burial will follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery, 400 Freeport Parkway, Coppell, TX. Merit Memorial will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Leslie was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Frank and Marjorie Stringfield on February 14, 1966. She went to high school at Eastwood High School and graduated in 1984. She enjoyed crafts and being creative. Holiday’s were her favorite time of the year! She decorated every room to look beautifully. She was an extremely creative mother. Every birthday was tailored to fit her children. They always felt special. Leslie loved to work on crossword puzzles and watch horror films. She was a fantastic jokester.

Leslie is survived by her parents Frank and Marjorie Stringfield; her children Daniel, Chelsea, Kyle, and Kara; her grandchildren, Riley, Jacob, Connor, and Everett. She is preceded in death by her Sister, Christine; and her grandparents, Kenneth and Carol.

“God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be; so, he put his arms around you and whispered, “Come with Me”. You didn’t deserve what you went through. With tearful eyes, we watched you suffer and saw you fade away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A Golden Heart stopped beating hard, working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He Only Takes the Best! And when we saw you sleeping so peaceful and free from pain, we could not wish you back to suffer that again.”

We miss you so much, it hurts. We don’t mind suffering, at least it has set you free. Until we meet again gorgeous.
