Obituary of Barbara Jean Minissale

Barbara Joan Minissale was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 1, 1940 and passed at 79 years of age on August 18, 2019 in Dallas, TX at T. Boone Pickens Hospice in Dallas, TX.   She was the daughter of Margaret Carter and William Thesing. 

Barbara was the proud mother of four children, Michael A. Minissale and Joe B. Minissale, both of Dallas, Texas, Kathleen Minissale Peterson of Portland, Oregon, and Larry J. Minissale of New Smyrna, Florida.  She is survived by four grandchildren: Matthew Minissale, Benjamin Minissale, Mark Minissale, and Atreyu Peterson. 

Barbara spent the last forty-one years living in West Mount Airy, Pennsylvania.  She enjoyed a career in service through her roles at Ambler Juvenile Social Services, Germantown Jewish Center, and Germantown Academy.

She found joy in spending time with family, attending folk music festivals, and vacationing at the Jersey shore.
