Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Marrs

Mary Elizabeth Marrs, 80, has gone to heaven after battling a long illness. She moved to Flower Mound, TX from Tulsa after the death of her husband, James Leo Marrs in 2007. Mary was born and lived most of her life in Tulsa. She graduated from Holy Family High School in 1956 and retired from Ryerson.  Mary completed a half marathon, loved the outdoors, working out, gardening and attending her granddaughters’ sports events, concerts and dance recitals. She is survived by daughter Deborah Newman, son Dean Marrs, granddaughters, Leigh Bratton, Lindsey Marrs, Kendall Newman and Lauren Marrs, all of Flower Mound, TX.  She also is survived by her sister Paula Caffee, Kellyville, OK and brother in-law Frank Marrs, Albuquerque, NM

Services will be held at St Pius X Catholic Church on Saturday, November 17 at 10:00AM. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association or any charity supporting dementia research and cure. On line condolences may be left at Meritmemorial.com/obituaries.
