Obituary of Bobby McClure

Bobby Dewayne McClure, age 67, passed away at Baylor Scott & White Hospital on June 19, 2019 after a long fight with cancer. He was born in Dallas on July 26, 1951. He served in the United States Army for seven years, completing three tours in Vietnam. On his return he married his wife of 42 years, Leona.  He worked for the City of Irving Water Department for 13 years before retiring. He is survived in life by his wife Leona, their daughter Jenifer, her husband Joe, and his grandchildren Alex, Victoria, and Megan. He is also survived by his sister and brothers Robin, Vincent, Scotty and their spouses, children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father W.G, his mother Ruth, and his sister Karen. Visitation will take place at Merit Memorial Funeral and Cremation Care in Farmers Branch on Friday, July 5^th at 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Burial services with full military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas following the visitation.
