The family of Nelson Omar Gutierrez invite you to Merit Memorial Funeral and Cremation Care for a visitation on May 11, 2019 from 8am to 8pm.  There will be a Funeral Mass from 5pm-6pm on May 11, 2019 at Merit Memorial Funeral and Cremation Care.

Nelson Omar Gutierrez of Dallas, TX passed away Saturday May 11, 2019.

 

Nelson was born on July 6, 1982 in San Miguel, El Salvador. Leaves behind mother Bertha Reyes, siblings Edwin and Jose Gutierrez, as well as Jessica, Jennifer and Vanessa Mendoza.

 

Nelson completed an associates degree in computer science from North Texas University. Nelson also received a degree in business from Brookhaven community college. He was accomplished in chess, he also enjoyed taking pictures of his travels and of the natural beauty found in nature. He was passionate of seeking higher education and would emphasis the importance of this to all that where around him. Nelson enjoyed cooking and would come up with the most interesting recipes, and yes they were incredible dishes. An avid Dallas Mavericks fan.

 

He will be most remembered for his smartness, his kindness, and for the love that he gave to his family.

 

Funeral is schedule for 8am through 8pm on Saturday May 18, 2019 prayer services will be held at 5pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate with the family Nelson's life.
