I just found today that Frankie passed last year. This woman was amazing. She had a big heart and big personality in a small frame. I am from west Texas originally as well. When I moved to Dallas in the spring of 2000 I landed my first Dallas job at Stewart Title where she worked. Frankie taught me much about big city life. She took me under her wing by inviting me to her home and to go bowling with her and Don. When I was getting married, my wife and I married in Lubbock TX. I can remember looking out into the audience and there she and Don were. I was impressed and grateful they came all that way for to see me get married. My wife and I bought our first house close to where her and Don lived. I as I moved up the corporate ladder and moved on, we stayed in touch and spoke from time to time. She was always so full of life and a joy to be around.

Don,
My thoughts are with you and your family during this time. Frankie was a wonderfully sweet lady, and always stopped to say hello whenever I saw her. I think of her every Christmas, and her tales of growing amaryllis. She brought a smile and joy to everyone. Prayers to you all.

Dear Frankie, I write to you knowing that you are in the presence of God. You are an extraordinary mother-in-law. A being of Light and Love. I can only think that during the years that I had the happiness of knowing you, you loved me as a daughter. You will always be my model as a wife and woman. Your loyalty and love always distinguished you. You never forgot a birthday date, you were always present in the life of your family and friends. Thanks Frankie for your life. You will always be present in our lives. We love you.

Frankie was a dear friend who always shared kind words whenever I saw her. Flowers were her passion and it is mine. She wore a smile whenever I saw her. She would always have a few minutes to stop by and share a story. Comfort and prayers and deepest condolences to the family. Laverne Pratt

So glad to have known Frankie when I lived in Dallas. She always spoke so highly of her family. She also mentioned her Sorority sisters frequently. Her wonderful daughter Karen introduced us. I will always remember her kind spirit. I will keep Frankie’s friends and family in my prayers. Sincerely, Tiffany Drafz

Dearest Markham Family,
Thank you for sharing this adorable and dynamic lady with the EPA. I loved and admired her spirit and vigor for life. Her casseroles for our birthday brunches were absolutely marvelous. I never saw her without a smile on her face, which made my days that much happier. May the legacy of her love continue to comfort you. You're in my prayers.
