It breaks my heart that he is gone. I will miss him alot. R.I.P. Till we meet again, always with love from Julie and Tami, Hayden, Leland, Brianna, Cathryn.

I met Joe in 6th grade. Must have been 1970. Didn’t really get to know him till we started hanging round the motorcycle shop and riding. We terrorized Lewisville for years on those bikes. Joe started out on a blue Kawasaki 100 as I remember. We became roommates just after he got out of the service. He was a very proud Marine and didn’t mind telling you. We had a 2 bedroom north side of Dallas when Phillip moved in. We had to get a 3 bedroom and the party picked up if anyone knows Phillip. Joe and I have been good friends and stayed in touch the whole time, years and years. When I met my wife in 1984 and we would have these legendary parties, Joe was at every one. We were really more than just good friends. I had spoke with Joe a couple of weeks before I heard the sad news. As always, we talked about getting together and riding, having a beer and Phillip.
I loved Joe.

I'll always remember Joe. We met when we were 8 years old and we became fast friends. We rode our Harley Davidson's together all over North Texas numerous times and when we stopped for lunch, we reminisced about growing up together and how far we'd come from those little boys in Old Town Lewisville.
Joe, you were a helluva friend and we'll meet again one day for another Harley ride.

I am sorry for your loss. Joe was a great neighbor and he was always so willing to help anyone. He came over more than once to help me get my dad up off the floor when he had fallen down. I will always remember his kindness.
