Obituary of Jennifer Piazza
Please share a memory of Jennifer to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jennifer Piazza, born on September 27, 1978, in Manhattan, KS, USA, was a beacon of light to all who knew her. Jennifer completed her education in Manhattan at Manhattan High School and later graduating from Kansas State University, where she was in the Alpha Delta Pi ("ADPi") sorority. Throughout her life, Jennifer was adventurous, courageous, loving, and empathetic, and selfless. She possessed an unwavering desire to experience all that life had to offer. From her countless travels to her passion for fitness, Jennifer's spirit was only second to her infectious smile. On June 24, 2023, we lost a beautiful soul, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Jennifer dedicated her life to helping others as a dietitian in the healthcare industry. Her commitment to her profession extended beyond her daily work, as she presented and published a research poster to the American Dietetics Association and briefly served as Secretary and President of the Dallas Dietetics Alliance. Her love for life extended to her hobbies, which included running, hiking, cheering for K-State athletics and spending time with her beloved pups, Lucy (deceased) and Hazel. Jennifer's spirit led her to participate in numerous full and half marathons, a testament to her courage and determination.
What mattered most to Jennifer were the relationships she cultivated with those around her. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Greg Piazza, and a loving sister, always ready to support them in their endeavors. Jennifer's compassionate nature touched the lives of her friends from college, running, dietitians, and the dog park community. She is survived by her husband, Greg Piazza, sisters Ange Jones (Kurt Jones), Kelsey McGurrin (Patrick McGurrin), and McKenna Duffy, step-mother Nancy Duffy, nephew Kyle Jones, and niece Kaylin Jones. Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents James and Patty Duffy. Jennifer's radiant presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on through the memories and stories shared by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
We invite you to share your memories and upload photos of Jennifer Piazza to the memorial page, so that together, we can celebrate her incredible life and the impact she had on each of us.
