Obituary of Grady Hyatt

Grady Hyatt loved to go fast. It was clearly his favorite activity as he was a drag racer most of his life. Grady was born in Oneonta, Alabama on April 5, 1946. Once he was big enough to drive, he never stopped trying to go faster. He took great pride in his work restoring cars and trucks to their former glory. This career afforded him opportunities to help many people and his generosity was never limited as he was always the first to step up in any situation. Grady and his wife, Helen, spent 52 years together as not only husband and wife but best friends. They worked hard to raise their family, watch it grow into more family and love as much as their time together would allow. He and his family spent 33 years in Colorado before making Texas their home. As hard as Grady worked and as fast as he liked to go, neither compared to how much he loved his family. On April 7, 2023, Grady Edward Hyatt left us with every last ounce of his love in his heart. He’ll be in OUR hearts ALWAYS.
