Obituary of Ramon Bushee

Ramon was lost too young in his brief fight with cancer. He passed away on March 21, 2023. Ramon graduated from Rich Central High School in 1979 and studied Avionics Systems Technology at the Air Force community college. Ramon proudly served in the U. S. Air Force for 24 years and retired as Technical Sergeant. He was currently living in Greenville, Texas and working for L3Harris Technologies as an aircraft electrician. He was a prominent member of the UAW Local 967 in Greenville, Texas. Ramon was born in the Chicagoland area in 1961 and remained a lifelong Cubs and Bears fan. He was also a huge classic rock aficionado. He is predeceased by his father (Theodore Bushee), his mother (Mildred Bushee), stepmother (Eileen Bushee) and stepbrother (Tim Ray). Ramon is survived by his sister (Ruth Bushee Autrey), sister-in-law (Dawn Ray), and nephew (Kyle Ray) and wife (Adira Ray). His nephew was like a son to him. At Ramon’s request, he will be cremated. A future military service will be at a later date TBD. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
