Obituary of James Harold Abercrombie

James (Dale) Harold Abercrombie. 53. of Carrollton. TX. died January 29, 2023 at home after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was an avid carpenter and made several one-of-a-kind pieces that the family will cherish forever. He was also a lifetime fisherman who spent several years fishing for catfish on Lake Lewisville but later found his love for crappie. In 2008, he became a member of the Crappie Anglers of Texas and competed in multiple Crappie Tournaments. He is survived by his wife Janice (Kat) Abercrombie, daughter: Amanda Dennis (and her husband Christopher Dennis), and granddaughters: Brooklvn Dennis and Madelvn Dennis. All were the light of his life and cherished dearly by him. He leaves behind a big hole in all their hearts. He is also survived by his parents: James and Frankie Abercrombie, Sister: Cindv Carbaial (and her husband Gilbert), nieces: Paige White and Brandi Billy, Nephews: Corv McDaniel, Ton Carbaial and Justin Richardson; as well as several great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by brothers: Bud Richardson and Brian Abercrombie. Per his wishes; there will be no funeral or visitation. More details to come on a memorial service.
