Obituary of Rebecca Lynne Brown

Rebecca Lynne Brown, 70, of Euless, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on December 22, 2022 in Euless, Texas.
Merit Memorial Funeral & Cremation Care in Farmers Branch, Texas will host a Celebration of life for family and friends on January 15, 2023 at 2 pm in the afternoon.
Lynne was born in Plainview, Texas on June 9th to loving parents Naomi and Wayne Wilbourn. She went to high school in Plainview, Texas and graduated in 1970. She went on to earn a degree in Nursing and later graduated from Chamberlain University with her Masters in Nursing Education. She worked as an Operating Room Nurse throughout her professional tenure with the longest being for Texas Health Resources for more than 25 years. She enjoyed taking her dogs for walks, cooking, baking and traveling. Lynne would never turn down a Texas Rangers baseball game and loved following Texas Tech Athletics. She received her certification as an Operating Nurse (CNOR) and was involved in the Association of Operating Room Nurses, where she had previously held a position on the local chapter board.
Lynne is survived by her daughter, Amanda and her husband Donovan of Watagua, Texas. As well as her four “Bonus” Children Silas and his wife Kelly and their three children Jett, Taya and Axel of Wichita Falls, Texas. Tyler of Los Angeles, California. Alyson and her husband Jared and their three daughters Emersyn, Kollyns and Keatyn of Richmond, Texas and Laci of Azle, Texas. She is also survived by her nephews Jerett and his wife Lindsey and Brant and his wife Ashly. Lynne also has 2 great-grandchildren who she adored very much. She also leaves behind her beloved cousins and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Naomi and Wayne as well as her brother, Jerry.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to cousin Liesl Shepard for all of her special attention, love and guidance.
Her family and close friends appreciate your thoughts and prayers while they grieve the loss of such a loving mother, sweet cousin, genuine friend, talented nurse, and overall remarkable person.
