Janice Gregory Nelson passed away peacefully Friday, December 16th, 2022 surrounded by family.
Jan was born on November 25th, 1953 in Tyler, Texas.
She is preceded in heaven by her parents, Jim and Pat Gregory, and her stepmom, Shirley.
She is survived by her sisters and their families, Betty and Jim Benjamin and Jeannie and Ron Fischer; her children, Greg, Tommy and his wife Carlee; and her husband, Page. As well as their many dogs.
Jan loved adventures, reading, sewing, and bringing smiles and joy to everyone she interacted with. She met her husband, who was her instructor, while scuba diving in the Cayman Islands and they ended up on many trips around the world from large oceans to small caves.
Jan participated in many social activities, from prayer groups to sewing circles and made many lifelong friends and memories.
Services will be held on Friday, December 30th at 11am at First Rowlett United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family is instead asking for donations to Parkinson's Voice Project or a charity of your choosing.
