Obituary of Robin Byford
Please share a memory of Robin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Robin Lea Byford was born February 8th, 1961 to Bobby and Linda Byford in Ft Worth, Texas. She had a brother, Jeff, who preceded her in death and leaves a sister, Tammie Wilson, behind. She worked in construction and home renovation for 30 years, was a gifted artist and craftsman, and was often described as the "hardest working woman" taking pride in all her finished projects. Robin was married to Alicia Perrine, and they spent 15 years supporting others in their journey towards self-acceptance, enjoying their many friends and family, and loving the 9 dogs they cared for together. She was looking forward to teaching her new grandson, Oliver, to fish and passing down her carpentry skills prior to her recent illness. Robin was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in December of 2021, and was cared for at home by her wife and mother-in-law until her passing on August 11th, 2022. She is survived by daughters, Leslie Byford, and Micaela Perrine-Hood; wife, Alicia Perrine; mother-in-law, Marilyn Clifton; son-in-law, Jeremy Hood; and grandson, Oliver Hood, all of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by her father, Bobby Byford; and numerous cousins and other family members across the state of Texas. She will be greatly missed by all. Services for Robin will be held at the church she attended with her partner, Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, in Dallas on September 1st, 2022 at 2 PM.
