John Charpentier, 67, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on August 12, 2022. He was born in Havre, Montana on April 23, 1955 to John Charpentier and Diane Parsons Charpentier. Memorial services will be held on August 27, 2022. Military services are yet to be determined. John grew up in the Tri-State area of Washington where he got his GED just to prove he could. After that he joined the army where he was attached to NATO and traveled the world. He loved it and had a never ending supply of stories to tell. He was a story teller and could make the most mundane situation seem exciting. When out of the army he worked various jobs while attending school. One thing he studied was culinary arts. While he never worked as a chef he delighted many friends with amazing home cooked meals. One of his greatest joys was entertaining in our home, cooking for friends and family, the more the merrier. John was active in various ministries in the church from leading single parent groups, ushering, greeting, cooking/serving, and feeding the homeless. John is survived by his wife Angela, his sons Cory Charpentier, and Ryan Charpentier(Nikki), daughter Crystal Eastham, and daughter Amy Charpentier, 8 grandchildren, his sister Johni Kochel (Randy), and a brother Steve Charpentier, and nieces and nephew. John was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jim, and Scott, and sister Mary Charpentier.
