Obituary of James Reid Nesrsta

Please share a memory of James to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
James Reid Nesrsta took his first breath on Friday July 19, 2013. His presence in this world had been lovingly prayed for by his parents, long before he even had a heartbeat. While in the womb, his parents, Caroline Ann and Mathew Charles Nesrsta prayed that he would do mighty works for the kingdom of the Lord. As a baby James did not sleep much, but he was happy and content, even in the wee hours of the morning. When he was ready to walk, he did it assuredly, when he was ready to speak, words came out in sentences. He learned his first scripture at two years old, Genesis 1:1 In the beginning. It was an appropriate place to start. He rode a bike at three and went on his first hunting trip that same year. He loved mud puddles and bonfires, foggy mornings on the ranch, and his dog Bella. His favorite hunting buddies were his Dad and his baby brother, Thomas, his Uncle Bucky (Brandon Kleiman) and Cousin Campbell, and Godparents Owen and Kelley Jobe. He loved listening to Christmas music year-round and his favorite holiday was no surprise, Christmas! James was always game for fun, whether it be ice skating or cutting a rug with his favorite dance partner, cousin Kirby Leigh. He loved hugs and cuddles and chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon rolls and Legos and the Bear Grylls book series. When baby brother Thomas was brought home for the first time, James squeezed him so tightly. He was so proud to be his big brother. The boys never missed an opportunity to wrestle, fish, hunt, swim, visit the trampoline park, or be with their cousins. James loved soccer and his teammates and coaches. Bubba' as his momma called him, was super speedy on the soccer field, and skilled with the ball! Soccer was his sport for sure! He took school very seriously and tried his hardest. His classmate’s said James was always helpful and kind. He was a boy who took life seriously and expected close to perfection from himself but was graceful with others. He was sensitive and empathetic in the best ways possible and really cared about animals. He wanted to grow up and be a Zoologist. James memorized dozens of scriptures and loved the Lord with all of his heart. He prayed nightly for every person in his extended family, by name. Obedient and humble, James rarely was in trouble, but when he was, he showed remorse. He smiled perpetually and was most frequently photographed hugging someone's neck. He loved visiting his G-Maw's (Leah Anne Kleiman) house and swimming in her pool. He loved going to Houston to Papa and Mum's (Richard & Elsa Kleiman) home and visiting the beach and crabbing at night. He was never afraid to reach down and grab those little critters! He enjoyed playing Farkle and being on the ranch with his Grandma Bitsy (Virginia Dotin) and playing video games with his Aunt Jen Nesrsta. On Friday, the 17th of June, James went ahead of us, to be with the Lord. He was baptized by his Papa, Richard Kleiman, in early June, and had previously accepted the Lord as his Savior years before. He is survived by his parents, Caroline Ann Kleiman Nesrsta and Mathew Charles Nesrsta, his brother Thomas Nesrsta, maternal Grandparents Leah Ann Kleiman, Richard and {Elsa Kleiman}, and paternal Grandparents Virginia "Bitsy" and {Larry} Dotin, and Jeff and {Terri} Nesrsta, Uncle Brandon and {Megan Kleiman} and cousins Kali, Campbell, Kirby, and Clara Kleiman, and Jason Kleiman and cousins Madison, Faith, and Sarah Kleiman, and Aunt Jennifer Nesrsta, and many Great Aunts and Uncles and beyond. He left us too soon, but will be loved forever. A sunrise memorial service for James Reid Nesrsta will be held on Sunday June 26, at 6:00 am at Cross Creek Ranch 3406 Dublin Rd, Parker Texas 75002. Flowers may be sent to this location. Please wear green, James’s favorite color, to celebrate his life.
