In Loving Memory of Rosalinda Amparo Depakakibo “Rose”
February 29, 1944 – March 4, 2022
Rosalinda, affectionately known as “Rose” or “Rosie” by her close family and friends, of Dededo, Guam was called to rest by our Heavenly Father at the age of 78 in Dallas, Texas.
Rosalinda will be reunited with her parents and parents-in-law Tomas Amparo Jr. and Salome Ampurias Amparo and Quillon Depakakibo Sr. and Soledad Diesmo Depakakibo; her brothers Rodolfo Amparo, Rogelio Amparo; sister-in-law Teresita Amparo, and brother-in-law Mar Alojepan.
She is survived by her husband Quillon Depakakibo Jr. and their children and grandchildren Jennie Evans (Griffin and Gwendolyn), Iris and Dennis Ramos and Ruzelle and Augustine Judicpa (Ari); Her siblings and their spouses Florida Amparo, Alma Alojepan, Freddie and Jocelyn Amparo, Mary Ann and Victor Primacio, Cyrus and Gizelle Amparo; her aunt Julie Ampurias Legaspi; her brothers/sisters-in-law Carn Amparo, Belinda Amparo, Ledie and Quirico Cristales, Chedie Solivio, Felipa and Bert Jurinario, Feneno and May Depakakibo, and Clarita and Carlos Garcia.
Rosalinda’s selfless nature and kind heart will also be deeply missed by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends
Rosalinda bravely fought cancer for many years. She passed away surrounded by her loved ones at Faith Presbyterian Hospice in Dallas, Texas.
Merit Memorial will provide a short funeral service on 3/19/2022 from 1-5pm CST at 12801 N Stemmons Fwy #803, Farmers Branch, TX 75234 for stateside residents who wish to pay their last respects. A funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Peace and Safe Journey Chalan Pago, Guam in May, and interment at Our Lady of Peace Memorial Gardens, Windward Hills.
We will miss you, Wife, Mom, Grandma, Sister, Cousin, Aunt, and Dear Friend.
