I miss you my beloved son so terribly. The grief is unyielding and my only peace is that one day we will meet again. I love you to the moon and back.

I will always cherish the times we spent with our young children together and Robert's creative and independent spirit. We love you Dara. You and all of Robert's family and friends are in our hearts and prayers.

He was taken at the very beginning of his adulthood and had only began the long acquisition of experience and skills necessary for an accomplished life. For this reason there is no list of achievements, no wife, no children, no record of what he had been and what he had done in the world. He still had one foot in childhood. There will be no stories of him other than those of childhood and the struggle necessary to becoming a man.
We never thought we would outlive any of our grandchildren. Now we regret all the missed opportunities to have spent more time with him. The memories and photographs are too few; there could have been more. Even then they would not have been enough. What we have now will have to do.
But, perhaps the most important accomplishment was that he was deeply loved. Perhaps that is the greatest achievement of all--to be truly loved by family and friends. He was a part of all of us. Now there is a horrific absence, a vacancy that can not be filled in this world. Our comfort is that he is now in the hands of a loving God, and that there will come to be a time of reunion.

I really hated to hear that your son passed away. You’re a sweet family that goes out of your way to help others during their time of need. I hope you know we are here for you.
