Linda Carol (Galyon) Burch August 14, 1942 – June 15, 2021 Linda Burch, age 78, of Northlake, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, after battling a form of leukemia for many years. She was born to Edwin and Marjorie (Chase) Galyon on August 14, 1942, in San Antonio. On October 6, 1962, she married the love of her life, Louis A. Burch. They began their 58 years together while Louis served in the United States Air Force. During their years together they enjoyed camping and traveling the U.S.A. and even Alaska. She spent her working life as an electronic assembler, closing her career with 17 years at Abbott Laboratories. The joy of her life was being a wife, mother, and granny. She was a member of Plymouth Park Baptist Church, Irving, and was baptized there. She enjoyed watching all sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and Dallas Mavericks. She also looked forward to her trips to Winstar with her sister, and mother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Marjorie Galyon. She is survived by her loving husband, Louis. Her children, son Louis, Jr. and his wife, Rita, daughter Lori and her husband Chris. Her brother, Edward and wife Barbara and family, and sister, Patricia, husband Bob and family. Five grandchildren, Cristina (Matt), Kyle (Callie), and Katie (Jace), Lawson and Leyton. Nine great-grandchildren by age are Emma, Ayva, Lakyn, Makayla, Lanee, Wyatt, Laycee, Parker, and Whitney. She also leaves behind a host of wonderful neighbors and friends, as well as, their Alpine motorcoach travel friends. There will be a gathering of family and friends for a graveside service at a later time. Cremation has taken place and interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Denton, Texas. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital for her care in the CVCU.
