Obituary of Gregory Thomas McClanahan

Gregory Thomas McClanahan died peacefully on March 29, 2019 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 61.

Greg is survived by his mother, Ruby Jewel McClanahan; wife Cindy McClanahan; sons, Sean McClanahan and Ryan McClanahan; grandson, Grant McClanahan; siblings, Laura Burg and Joe McClanahan.  He is preceded in death by his father, J. B. McClanahan.

Greg was born on February 4, 1958 in Houston, Texas to J.B. and Jewel McClanahan.  He  graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1996 with a degree in Networking Technologies. He married Cindy in 1982.  They lived in Dallas until 1999 when they moved to Rockwall. 

A memorial service is scheduled for April 6, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Presbyterian Hospice, 12477 Merit Drive, Dallas, Texas 75251.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Greg’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the National Kidney Foundation.
