Obituary of Robert Alan Cooper

Bob Cooper will be remembered for his love of family, for his easy-going personality, and for being there for others as a dear friend. He died May 23, 2021 at the age of 75. Bob was born on October 17, 1945, the beloved son of Dorothy and Ben Cooper. He is predeceased by his parents, and his loving wife, Carolyn Cooper. He is survived by his loving children, Lisa, Kevin and Nicole, and granddaughters Rebekah, Caroline, and Shayna. Bob grew up in Dallas where he attended Hillcrest High School. He studied finance at the University of Texas at Austin where he met his loving wife of 40 years, Carolyn Feibel Cooper. He spent a long career in the furniture industry as a traveling salesman across Texas and the bordering states. He was an active member of Temple Shalom where he was involved in the Brotherhood and anything else that his wife, Carolyn encouraged him to do. Bob loved to spend time with his daughter Lisa and his grandchildren each weekend. During the last decade, he traveled around the world on cruises. He loved reading, needlepoint work and playing bridge. Funeral services will be at graveside at Sparkman/Hillcrest Cemetery.
