Obituary of Janalee Christine Rice

Janalee “Jan” Christine Rice, age 64, beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully April 18, 2021 while surrounded by loved ones in Dallas, Texas. The angels carried her home to join her mom in heaven on her mom's birthday. Jan was born in 1957 to Janetta and Harold Rice in Washington. Jan loved her family. She took great pride in her Choctaw heritage and has fond memories of her childhood in Talihina, Oklahoma. She enjoyed visiting the casino. She loved fishing and could bait and clean her own fish. Jan loved her cat Tally. She adored her grand-niece Isabella and grand-nephew Maddox. Being with them always brought her many smiles. Jan was preceded in death by her mother, Janetta Rice. Jan is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Ray Vasinda, Jr., their son, R.J. Vasinda and his children, Isabella and Maddox, her brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Trisha Rice and many friends. All of these she loved deeply.
