Dona Jean (Bruce) Miller, 81, of Denton, was born on October 4, 1939 in Los Angeles, California and passed away on February 16, 2021.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Donald Bruce and Harriet Bowker and 3 brothers, Gary and Barry Bowker and Doug Bruce.
She is survived by her 5 children, Debbie Langley, Tammy Romell, Laurie Romell & husband Daniel, Danny Sonney, Shani Senters & husband Stan. 12 grandchildren, Ashley Romell, Dylan Romell, Willis Langley, Jacob Romell, Aaron Romell, Chase Romell, Meghan Byram, Justin Byram, Heather Barrett, Krystin Wooten, Nikki Barr & Daniel Sonney and 15 great grandchildren. Also, 2 sisters Geraldine Moler & husband Tom, Beth Keeler & husband Jim, brother Greg Bowker and wife Kathy, and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
She worked for the United States Postal Service and Barnsco.
She spent her latter years volunteering at Our Daily Bread in Denton. She was an avid NFL football fan and loved her California teams with her 49ers being her favorite.
She loved playing Scrabble and beating everyone with her knowledge of so many words.
She loved the Military and visiting with WW2 veterans every year.
"Jeanie" will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Her memory will be forever cherished for many generations to come.
