Thomas Khayyam Carter (Khy) was born on October 14, 1975, in Washington, DC, and transitioned on February 13, 2021, in Dallas, Texas. Thomas is survived by his father Hollie Carter and mother Toni Carter, his wife Jullana and six children, Nicoh, Najee, Mariah, Khaiyah, Yasmine, and Julian Carter, his brothers Daniel, Darius, Gary, Roman and Alexander Carter, his sister Victoria Carter, his mother-in-law, Yasmin Chambers, his father-in-law Paul Thomas, his brother-in-laws, Shadeed and Kendall Thomas, sister-in-laws Ameenah, Alexyss and Kelli Thomas, Stephanie Carter, his goddaughter Leila Houston and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Thomas (Khy) will be greatly missed and was loved by many. He was a well-rounded individual that never feared, he was known as a “free thinker”, “historian” and had a “truly brilliant mind.” He was an avid reader that loved to explore the unknown while looking for higher consciousness to consistently evolve. He was extremely witty and made everyone around him laugh and feel comfortable. Thomas (Khy) enjoyed creating memories with friends and family through dining at his favorite restaurants, listening to music, taking photos, video recordings, most of all having thought provoking conversations. Thomas (Khy) had a passion for sales and finished his career as a Finance Director. He was known as one of the smartest men in his profession. Thomas was an excellent motivator and friend to all. He always thought outside the box, assisted, and motivated his peers not only within their careers but also in life. Thomas (Khy) loved his family fervently and the people that surrounded him. His life will be forever cherished through his legacy, for many generations to come.
