Obituary of Thomas Eken Osemiha

Thomas Eken Osemiha, 76 years, of Abavo, Delta State, Nigeria, passed away on 23rd January 2021 in Dallas, Texas. USA.
Funeral service will be held at Dallas, Texas on 11 February 2021 at 12 PM with [Ms. Christy Kay] of Eckankar Community officiating. Visitation will be held at Merit Memorial Funeral Home on 11 February 2021 at 2 PM. Merit Memorial Homes will be handling the funeral arrangements. Burial will follow at Rolling Oaks Funeral Home, Coppell, Texas.
Thomas was born in Agbor, Delta State, Nigeria on the 25th of May 1945. He went to high school at Agbor, Nigeria, and went on to earn a degree/certificate in Philosophy from The University of Ibadan, Nigeria. On relocation to the USA in 2014, He worked as a bus monitor with special needs children for Dallas Independent School District and Richardson Independent School District for 4 years. He enjoyed reading and meditation. He was involved in volunteering activities.
Thomas is survived by his wife (Mrs. Doreen Osemiha of Dallas Texas), son (Dr. Chuks Osemiha of Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada) and daughter (Mrs. Onyero Oseafiana of Dallas, Texas), brother (Mr. Julius Ebeigbe), nephews (Professor Peter Ebeigbe, Dr. Nicholas Ebeigbe), and nieces (Mrs. Nneka Chiemeke and Dr. Kate Ebeigbe -All in Nigeria). He is also survived by son-in-law (Mr. Alfred Oseafiana), daughter-in-law (Mrs. Dooshima Osemiha), and his grandchildren (Nomso, Somto, Jaden).
He is preceded in death by his parents and elder brother, Mr. Emmanuel Ebeigbe, and nephew (Mr. Onyisi Ebeigbe).
