Dear Wayne and Family, i am so sorry to hear of your loss of Linda. I have many cherished memories of Linda while attending North Dallas High School and then to be reunited at the class reunion. I remember how we laughed as we recalled the time we were with her family at Lake Dallas and we thought we were in quicksand. Slumber parties, school dances. We also had a fun time with our friends on our trip to Austin on the train for a high school basketball playoff. Always smiling, always happy, always remembered, Rest n peace my friend.

Linda Houston, my grandmother, was a kind and beautiful soul. She helped raise me and I’m forever grateful for her love which helped me develop into the person I am today. It pains me greatly to hear of her passing however I am positive that she is in the loving embrace of our heavenly father and at peace. I love you Honey, thank you for everything you’ve done for me and everyone who’s lives you’ve touched.

We will all miss Linda so much. Through the years she and her family have meant so much to me. Her dear mother I called "Aunt Linnie". I was half grown before I realized Linda and Pat, her sister, were not my first cousins. And their children, though we saw each other not as much as we wanted to, we were still close. When we were younger we enjoyed many happy family reunions. It was those happy days that we will always remember. It is hard to lose someone like Linda. She was just one of those people that made life richer for knowing her. Dear family it will be hard to lose her daily companionship but those of us who knew her we will treasure more those memories we have. God bless you all and we will pray for you at this difficult time. Hold onto Him for He will give you comfort .
