Traveling with Ralph and Elaine through Scotland and England was such a joy. Ralph was an entertaining source of history at every stop.He was a "foodie " before that was cool, making sure we understood and had a chance to sample historic local dishes. His was a friendship I will treasure forever. Marilyn

Fond memories of Angus with his Texan dad! So many years, and so many good times around the world. Two gentle souls who are missed each and every day. Much love from the Stott family in Texas and in Scotland

It’s hard for me to find words to say. I wish I could pick up the phone and call you Papaw.
It always made me smile how he’d always ask “how’s your car runnin’?” When I was little, he would pick up rollie-pollies and eat them to make me laugh. Later in life I found out he was just throwing them over his shoulder! I always wanted to climb the giant magnolia tree in their back yard, and he loved to climb it with me. Recently, our “thing” was going to Chipotle together when I was in town. I always smiled at the way he said “Chipotle’s”.
My Papaw was incredibly strong-willed. Even though his health declined, he was in the gym as much as possible and I admire him greatly for that. He also loved to do Sudokus to keep his mind sharp.
I love you so much Papaw, and I know how much you loved me too. I will carry you in my heart for the rest of my life. Give Grandma a big hug for me.
Love, Merideth
