CELEBRATION OF LIFE:  10:00 am, Friday, February 15, 2019, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish, 2910 Corn Valley Road, Grand Prairie, Texas 75052

 

LUNCH:  Family and friends will have lunch following the Celebration of Life service at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Perish, Mazaika Hall.

 

Thomas Edward “Tom” Farmer, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at 9:10 pm, at Legacy Living Memory Care in Arlington, Texas.  He passed peacefully in his sleep.

Tom was devoted to his family, and a friend to all.  He was an avid model airplane builder and flyer.  Tom was a master craftsman both with sheet metal and just about anything you can imagine.  His grandkids knew their Papaw could glue anything and fix the impossible. 

He is survived by his wife and best friend of 26 years, Doris Irene Farmer of Springfield, Missouri; daughter Jennifer (Farmer) Davis and husband Brian of Arlington; daughter LaDonna Bamrick and husband Robert of Fort Worth; son Howard Wayne Farmer of Dallas; and son Chris Boutross and wife Heather of Texarkana; grandchildren, Steven Hayes and wife Shantell of Springtown, Emilee Jaramillo of Fort Worth, Hadlee Thompson of Texarcana, Hayden Pope of Texarkana, Abigail Davis of Arlington, Holden Boutross of Texarkana, and Alexander Davis of Arlington; great-granddaughter Sawyer Hutchins of Comanche, and great-grandson Asher Lane of Fort Worth, numerous sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Bynaum Frank and Violet Farmer of Capitan, NM; and sisters Connie Caylor of Irving, Texas, and Carolyn Barton of Albuquerque, NM.
