Obituary of Margaret Peggy Edwards
Margaret “Peggy” Edwards passed away on Feb 5th, 2019 in Dallas, TX due to complications of cancer. She was 78 and affectionately known by loved ones as Peggy Dee. She was born on June 10th, 2019 in Chicago, IL. to William and Margaret Atkins. She attended the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX where she met lifelong friends and twin sisters, Mimi and Martha Hardy of Dallas, TX. Their friendship continued as Peggy became a flight attendant for Braniff Airlines headquartered in Dallas. TX.
She retired form Uddeholm steel company in 1994. Her love of reading novels and passionate following of current events carried over into her love family and friends alike. She loved movies with Elizabeth Taylor being her favorite actress.
She is survived by her daughter Kim Davis, sons Drew and Roddy D’Arcy, 4 grandchildren, her sister Mary Patt Kennedy, and her brother Billy Atkins. A funeral mass will take place at Mary Immaculate church in Farmers Branch, TX on February 11th, 2019 at noon. All are welcome to attend.
